But as we get older we should seek an active lifestyle by exercising to improve our physical and mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A study by the University of Oslo in Norway, published in the academic journal <a href=\"https:\/\/bjsm.bmj.com\/content\/49\/11\/702\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">British Journal of Sports Medicine<\/a>The study found that elderly people who practised at least three hours of physical activity a week lived around five years longer than those who did not practise physical activity.
